OUR INVITATION
Greetings. We would like to take to this opportunity to invite you to visit the Cape Fear Independent Baptist Church. We are a family of believers united in our cause to exalt our Lord Jesus Christ and to show forth his love to those who do not know him as Savior. Many people today are looking for answers to life's three questions: (1) Where did I come from? (2) Why am I here? and (3)Where am I going? We can help you answer these questions. Our desire is for you to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and for you to be a part of a Bible believing church that cares for you. We are glad to be a part of this community and we want to be a part of your life. We have old fashioned preaching and singing and we believe in praising His name. We work hard to to meet the needs of every member and every age. We hope to see you this Sunday!!

OUR MESSAGE
The Bible Says . . .
" But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ , the son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name" (John 20:31).
God wants us all to know that we can go to heaven, if we will accept Christ as our Saviour. He is the only way. First of all we must realize that we are Sinners.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Because of our sin we are under the penalty of sin.
"For the wages of sin is death . . ."(Romans 6:23).
This penalty means eternal separation from God in an eternal Hell. However God does not want anyone to go to Hell, so He sent His only Son to die and pay the penalty of our sins.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
God's love is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely.
". . .the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23)
God offers heaven as a gift, purchased with His blood on the cross. But like all gifts, it is not yours until you receive it.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name." (John 1:12)
HERE IS HOW YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
You must trust Jesus Christ to save you. If you believe, call on Him now!
" For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Will you pray right now and ask God to save you from your sins, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ?
OUR BELIEFS
1. SCRIPTURES
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the complete inerrant, infallible revelation from God and is verbally inspired of God. We believe the 1611 Kings James Authorized Bible is God's preserved word for English speaking people today.
2. GOD THE FATHER
We believe that God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in his perfection. We believe in the Trinity.
3. GOD THE SON
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten, eternal Son of God, the virgin birth, His deity and sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His pre-mellennial return.
4. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that He executes the plan of God for our conviction and salvation. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him.
5. THE FALL OF MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and by choice, fell into sin and death, hence every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgement.
6. THE SALVATION OF SINNERS
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholy of grace, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and Faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work.
7. THE SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER
We believe that those who recieve Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
8. THE CHURCH
We believe that the visible Church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrine, observing its ordinances, and exercising its autonomy.
9. HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe in eternal blessedness of the saved' in Heaven and eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.
